The Y-City Writers meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month at 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM at Central Presbyterian Church, 40 N. Sixth St. in downtown Zanesville.  Followed by coffee at the establishment of our choice.

Writers Breakfast at  9:00 AM on the 2nd, 4th and 5th Tuesdays of each month at Java House on Maple Ave.

Everyone is welcome to attend our meetings.  There are no membership fees or dues.  You may contact us a ycitywritersforum@gmail.com for further information.

Our Speakers:
Jane Friedman from Writer’s Digest Magazine will deliver a keynote address on “The Future of Publishing.”, John Thorndike will share his knowledge on “Writing and Marketing Your Memoirs.”, Bob Welsh is an author & inspirational speaker., Toni Leland will be conducting a workshop on “Cover Design”, Aaron Keirns will speak on: "Self-publishing: Straightforward advice From a Veteran Self-publisher", Joanne McGonagle will provide valuable information on “Marketing.”, Robert Loewendick will share his experience as an Outdoor/Travel Writer., Lisa Stein will speak on the “Adventure into Biography Writing”, Mary Lu Warstler will speak on: “Life’s Mysteries.”, Terry W. Ervin will present on the basics of dialogue, from proper punctuation and tags, to effectively employing it in works of fiction., James and Marilyn Kousoulas will speak about their children’s book, “The Case of the Missing Egg.”, Tiffany Colter will inspire writers with information on how she has more than tripled her business recently and how you too can capitalize in this economy., June Harman Betts will share her knowledge of turning life stories into historical fiction., Laura Moe will share her knowledge of poetry. Here is a sample of her work for your enjoyment.

Cost: $30.00 for all others ($15.00 /students) includes breakfast and lunch.

· Free to conference attendees.
· $25.00 cash prize to the first place winners. Ribbons and all contestants will be able to purchase books at cost.
